Biography:

Chris (BSc MSt MRICS) has worked in industry for 25 years in the construction and real estate sectors. During that time he has founded and managed a number of companies in both the UK and Sweden in the construction and environmental sectors. Over the last ten years he has been particularly active in the sustainability retrofit sector (developing the Ska Rating environmental accreditation tool now operated by the RICS) and international development (assisting with the building of community-based facilities in Meru Town, Kenya).

He completed his Master’s degree in interdisciplinary design in the built environment at Cambridge and he is now part of the research team at the Centre for Sustainable Development in the department of Engineering, studying the role of embodied energy in commercial buildings.

He is a member of Wolfson College.
