Kayla also works on the Master’s in Sustainability Leadership, the Postgraduate Diploma in Sustainable Business, the Postgraduate Certificate in Sustainable Value Chains, and is involved in the development of new graduate offerings for the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL).
Kayla is a US licensed architect with 10 years of professional experience, including exploring the challenges of improving sustainability in the built environment at multiple scales, and engaging diverse stakeholders in vision creation and implementation in both the US and UK. Her PhD is from the University of Cambridge, looking at how English planning impacts the thermal improvement of conservation properties. She holds a Master's of Architecture and Master's of Urban Design from Washington University in St Louis, and a BSc from the University of Virginia.
In addition to built environment expertise, Kayla teaches research skills to CISL and other students at Cambridge. In her spare time she is an avid home cook, and enjoys travelling.
